This is an interesting and different take on the whole love agency stories. And with an Alien twist. It's nice to think that Earth has accepted Aliens living here and also allowing an Interstellar Love Agency to be run for women who are willing to mate with them. I've always thought it is really arrogant for the people of Earth to think we are the only populated planet out of millions and millions of stars and galaxies. This is a sweet story. What desperate woman out there wouldn't want a big blue hunk of an Alien to step in and save them. I know I would. I definitely recommend this story. I certainly hope Tiraz's brothers are next. This is a very short story. All the books in this series follow the same plot. The story line seems to be just there to hang the sex scenes on. This story line had the potential to a great series. If only there had been more story and less sex. The author missed many opportunities to expand the story. The plot devices were not explored or expanded, just used to facilitate the scenes she wanted. It was good enough that I bought the rest of the series.
I'm getting fed up with authors trying to write fifty shades of grey set in outer space, and claiming to be science fiction authors. I wish had a slush pile.
I really liked this start to this new series. It was fun and cute and introduced a lot of new characters that I can't wait to read more about, mostly awaiting Gryf's story to see who'll catch his eye. The only drawback to this story I can see is that I read something quite similar to it in one of Ms. Coultier Smith's earlier books for the intergalactic brides series. Not completely the same, of course, but very similar. Despite that, however, I still think this new series has potential and I can't wait to find out what'll happen next. Tiraz and Violet were a good match and how he accepted Simon into his life as well was well written. Tiraz is a wonderful man, blue skin and white hair or not, and he's a welcome edition to Ms. Coultier Smith's lineup of handsome, devoted alien males.
I'm always a little skeptical when I start reading something that would fit in the Sci-Fi genre. This book definitely has those aspects, but not so much that I cannot really get into the story. Tiraz, blue alien or not, caught my attention when he first caught Violet's eye in the beginning. There was something about the way he denied wanting to find a mate and have a family, that made me think he had found his match. The love he had for her son Simon, you could feel. I was happy to see the author made sure there was a bond between them, before things progressed with Violet and Tiraz. This book made me want to see books about Tiraz's siblings, so hopefully that will happen in the future ).

Awesome new series that tugs at the heart. The characters are so real and lovable. Can't wait for the next book.
Ms. Smith talked about her book on a TheRomanceStudio.com online party. I was so intrigued by the concept of an interstellar matchmaking agency, I just had to get the book. It was delightful. One reviewer put it down because of the small amount of Sci-fi content. While the book could have used more in that area, I was still happy with it. A fun read.
